A sentence can still be grammatically correct even if it does not follow STOMP. If you want to emphasize one part of the sentence more you can move it forward



Example 4

Die meisie lees haar boek elke dag rustig in haar kamer.”

Hier wil ons klem lê op die feit dat dit haar boek is wat sy lees. Daarom het ons die voorwerp vorentoe geskuif.

 

Here we want to emphasize that it is her book that she is reading. Because of this we moves the object forward.

Example 5

Die wind waai baie sterk môre in die Kaap.”

 

In die sin het ons die wyse of manier vorente geskuif. Ons wil klem lê op hoe die wind waai.

 

In this sentence we moved means forward. We want to emphasize how the wind is blowing.
