Learn how to use personal pronouns as either the subject or the object. By the end, you will have laid the groundwork for using pronouns in Afrikaans.

Die persoonlike voornaamwoorde (The personal pronoun)

The personal pronoun replaces the noun. It is used for people.

The personal pronouns are: ek, jy, hy, sy, ons, julle, hulle

If the personal pronoun is the object of the sentence

If the personal pronoun is the object of the sentence, it usually changes. Pronouns referring to more than one person usually stay the same.
